We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst provides analytical support to all areas of the business.  You will support the Sales team with pricing decisions by providing product costings and profitability reporting as well as reporting on monthly sales measured against budget.  This role assumes prime responsibility for credit function, including credit analysis on customers, recommending credit limits, and ensuring collection of invoices in a timely manner.


As our new Business Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare costing analysis for sales & technical and support gate system costing requirements.
  • Prepare detailed annual sales budget providing volumes, prices, formulas, costs for raw materials, manufacturing, freight cost and warehousing.
  • Responsible for creating and updating profitability report for each grade/customer combination
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for directors/managers across the organization.
  • Update customer sales forecast monthly.
  • Maintain monthly sales database and analyze & report actual sales volume vs budget.
  • Produce and distribute weekly sales report.
  • Analyze monthly price variances.
  • Update and load pricing into SAP monthly.
  • Release orders and invoices on a daily basis after confirming credit (SAP, manual & EDI).
  • Review Accounts Receivable for past due and short paid invoices. Research discrepancies, work with sales managers to resolve and contact customers as necessary.
  • Perform credit line review for new & existing customers. Review and analyze financial statements, credit reports, references, payment history, etc. 
  • Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.
  • Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in a Finance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with cost accounting and credit principles (is a plus).
  • Strong organizational, verbal, written and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong technology skills: Excel, SAP, Access, etc.
